The month of May.

The month of May has been, needless to say, very eventful. I've hardly had the time to post anything. Even right at this moment I have a million things I should be doing.
Erich went back to base today. He'll be back at the beginning of August, which I'm hoping will be here before I know it.Here's some pictures of the last month [that haven't aready been posted]:

Daddy

This Memorial Day weekend, Erich came home from his base in Maryland. He has spent every waking moment wth Annaliese. He even takes her downstairs in the mornings so i can sleep in and he changes most of her diapers without me even asking. It's wonderful. Here's just some of the pictures I've managed to take:

Chewy.

Annaliese's great grandmother, "Nanny", brought Annaliese a new toy when she came into town to visit Saturday. I think A loves it. She hugs it and chews on it, it's adorable.

Curious Monkey.

Annaliese was determined to watch us make dinner last night. However, because i couldn't wear her around while handling hot food, my mom wore her around. I think this was the first time my mom has ever worn Annaliese.
It was so cute because A was cooing and kicking like she was having so much fun. I love how she looks at things. It's like she's trying to take things apart in her mind to understand how they work.

Sunday

Sunday was officially Mother's Day, my first ever actually. Sadly I was sick most of the day but even still I realized how wonderful this holiday is because of Annaliese. I used to think it was weird because everyday is Mothers Day sort of... you should cherish your mother constantly.
But I was sitting on the couch looking down at Annaliese and I just thought about when I was pregnant and when she was born and everyday up until now. It really is magnificent how a baby changes everything: your patience level, your attitude, your outlook on life... everything.
On Monday I received my Mother's Day gift from Erich. He sent a wonderful card and this outfit for Annaliese:

Mother's Day

Annaliese and Daddy got Mommy her Mother's Day gift early. I got to get my haircut. It's literally been over a year since i've done anything primping wise. Although the stylist did a terrible job, i still enjoyed the experience. Besides, i fixed it myself the next day. Here's some pictures of Mommy and Annaliese right after i got my haircut:
