Tummy Time Roll.
Today I put Annaliese on her clown mat that she got at the baby shower for tummy time. Annliese really hates tummy time. I try to encourage her by laying beside her and telling her what a good job she's doing. I know she doesn't understand what I'm saying but I hope she can sense me rooting for her.
Right after I took this video she did something new for the first time [another first!!! :) ]. She rolled onto her back! I tried to get her to do it again on video but alas, she did not.

So Far.
So far so good. A had a little trouble when i went to pick up Gabriella and Isaiah.. she did not want to leave the house.
Now, well, i'll let the video tell you.

Okay, okay...
So it's been over a week since my last post. It almost tears me up to move that gorgeous picture down from the top spot. So rather than never posting again for fear of never seeing the picture again, i made it my computer background. Now i can see it everyday!
Annaliese got her shots today at her two month appointment. It was the first time I've ever heard her sob. It was the most heartbreaking cry I've ever heard come out of her. I know what you all are thinking, but no, I did not cry along with her. I did however take my time comforting her afterward. I'm sure the nurse was probably wondering if I'd ever get out of that exam room. haha.
I'll update in the next few days on how she tolerated the vaccines. I'm sure she'll be fine though. She's been perfect in every aspect of her health so far...
Oh, and if anyone is wondering her current stats are as follows:
11#9oz, 23.5in, 65th percentile for her age.

Watch her grow.
I love that I have this blog for Annaliese. Now anyone can watch her grow over the days, months, years.. how ever long I continue writing. I know I haven't posted in a while but I will be posting at least once a week.
Here's whats happened since we got home:
1. A has a rash on her face that the doctor explained as dry skin and said all we have to do is wash her face with soap and give her a bath everyday. Well that hasn't changed her rash. It's still as red and bumpy as ever. I don't know if I should worry or put it off as just baby acne and be confident that she will grow out of it eventually.
2. A is going through a growth spurt and she's been eating every hour. It's exhausting, both physically and mentally. I feel like she cries all the time because she's hungry all the time and my supply of breast milk can't keep up right now.
3. My sister Gabriella has lice, not very bad but still in need of a delousing. So rather than going to school [which she obviously couldn't go to], she stayed home with me. I spent all day trying to ge the special shampoo in her hair because Annaliese has been eating so much lately.
4. Erich is at his AIT station now so he can call more often. It's nice because he talks to Annaliese at least once everytime he calls. She sometimes smiles when he talks to her, other times she gnaws on her hand in a completely oblivious manner. It's cute.
